What I work on
The layer I know best. These days that means full-stack TypeScript, from React interfaces to Express middleware and the data stores behind them.
The area I'm newest to. Through my coursework, I'm learning how the machine works beneath the software I've spent my career on.
I like using language models where they're genuinely helpful, such as a Claude-powered pipeline that screens about a thousand job listings for roughly a dollar.
A long-standing interest, mostly in application security. Learning more about the lower layers keeps giving me new ways to think about it.

About
I'm a software developer with twenty years of experience and a background in applied mathematics.
I'm currently pursuing an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering because I want to understand more of how computers work end to end: hardware, software, AI, and the security concerns that run through all of them.
By day I work in a hardware-oriented role. Outside of that, I'm always open to interesting part-time full-stack projects.
